  • Mar Vista Beautification Workshops [Date Change]

    Update:

Due to the continued rise in COVID cases and growing concern as we approach the holidays, the in-person Step 2 workshop for the Downtown Mar Vista Beautification Project has been cancelled.  Instead, CD11 will be holding a virtual meeting on December 9th and they look forward to your participation.

Want to help make Mar Vista more awesome? Join these upcoming workshops to give your input and help shape the plans to beautify our neighborhood.

The first workshop is designed to find out what the community wants and needs. Join in on Thursday, October 29th at 5:30pm on Zoom.

    RSVP here.

The second workshop will review the findings and make some action plans. That date has been changed and it’s now happening on Zoom on December 9th.

    RSVP here for that event.

  • Awesome VRBOs in Mar Vista for a Terrific Stay

Awesome VRBOs in Mar Vista for a Terrific Stay

Want to stay in a super cute VRBO in Mar Vista? We’ve got the best list of choices right here. Some are bungalows, some are whole houses, all offering great proximity to Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Culver City, and Marina del Rey.

Why book a VRBO in Mar Vista?

Sometimes you’d rather stay in a home or apartment and not in a hotel. Maybe you’d like to limit the number of people you have to interact with, or you’re looking for more privacy than a hotel can offer.

A VRBO stay is also ideal for families who want to have a whole house to themselves. They can offer a way to save money while traveling, too, since you’ll be able to use the kitchen and cook your own meals instead of dining out every time.

When visiting Mar Vista, your only options are VRBO stays, since we don’t have any hotels yet. Perfect!

These are affiliate links; if you book a stay via one of these links I will be paid a small commission, at no extra charge to you.

The great thing about staying in Mar Vista is that it’s close to everything you want on the Westside.

Three miles or less to the beach, with the beautiful ocean breezes making the temperatures cool, and the sea, sand and surf just minutes away.

Mar Vista is just minutes from Santa Monica, with its world-famous beach and Pier, shopping and dining along the 3rd Street Promenade.

Mar Vista is literally next door to Culver City, known for an amazing restaurant scene, and just down the street from Marina del Rey, home to Mother’s Beach, a lively outdoor concert scene, and boating and water sports.

Mar Vista is also close enough to the 405 Freeway or the 10 Freeway if you’re looking to venture further out you’ll be able to get there quicker.
