It was a wonderful day at the Mar Vista Farmers’ Market, with Santa and the Grinch posing for photos and making videos with the cool Time Machine Photobooth. Lots of people were showing their spirit, like the team from Kai Kai Dumplings. And the Double Date acapella group serenaded the shoppers. There were lots of gift ideas at the Market, too, at the craft marketplace, and at Dry River Brewing, where they also make Beer Bar soaps, Anasol dehydrated fruit, P.O.P. Candy. There were some new cheeses from up North today – Bellwether Farms and Redwood Hill Farm – in the Artisan Cheese booth. The Citizen’s Climate Lobby was in the Green Tent, and in the MVCC Tent they were reminding people about the upcoming Homeless Count in January. Volunteers are needed – please sign up via this link.
