Louie’s of Mar Vista is rumored to be coming sometime in the next year. It will take the old Barton’s Cleaners spot and if the owners’ other restaurant, the North End Caffe in Manhattan Beach, is any indication, the food will be great and the publicity could be huge. Although no one is promising Guy Fieri on opening night. (How’s that for a rumor?) And then – is there a Wine Bar coming soon to this stretch of Venice Blvd.? I’ve heard rumors and my fingers are crossed.
