At this point in July, it seems to me we should be seeing more tomatoes, but so far only a few amazing heirlooms and a handful of reg-a-lahs. I’m told we’ll see major amounts of the vine-ripened red orbs within 2 weeks, so stay tuned. New at the market: The Smart Fish Company is making new marinated fish yummies, so check them out. New vendor: Sno:LA frozen yogurt. At the Green booth today, The Pedal Patch Community was spreading the word about what they do and free seeds, too. Today I met my newest BFF, Julianne Gorman, who’s making a simple, delicious fruit salad of peaches, blueberries and mint. So summery!
