There are so many parts to it.
At this point in July, it seems to me we should be seeing more tomatoes, but so far only a few amazing heirlooms
and a handful of reg-a-lahs. I’m told we’ll see major amounts of the vine-ripened red orbs within 2 weeks, so stay tuned.
New at the market: The Smart Fish Company is making new marinated fish yummies, so check them out.
New vendor: Sno:LA frozen yogurt.
At the Green booth today, The Pedal Patch Community was spreading the word about what they do and free seeds, too. You can read more at the MVCC Green Committee website.
It’s my husband’s band, 15 Minutes To Grace, and they’ll be rockin’ the music store that night. Hope you can join us!
Details to come…
Pop Physique is the newest kid on the Venice Blvd. block.
And they have set up a gorgeous studio in the 12024 Building. It’s a barre workout, and I am fairly certain that means it will kick my butt. Still, I’m going to give it a try.
And so should you: Any readers of this blog who mention MarVistaMom will get $10 off their first class. Schedule available on their website: PopPhysique.com

A large group of bees attempted to move in to my attic crawl space last week. I got video of them swarming outside my window I wanted to show you.
I called A Bee Man to take care of it, as I have in the past, and his company came very quickly and did what they do so well — and that I am happy to pay them for: they removed the bees from my house.
Today I met my newest BFF, Julianne Gorman,
who’s making a simple, delicious fruit salad of peaches,
blueberries
and mint.
So summery!
In the MVCC Green Booth today, Buzz Boettcher was there to demonstrate his gray water recycling systems.
Check him out for more information at ReUseGrayWater.com.
Yes, it’s true. First I saw the cameras,
then I saw the drag queens.

They were filming RuPaul’s reality show. Of course they were.
