The Mar Vista Library is a calm oasis of air-conditioned quiet on a hot summer day, and right now they are in the midst of their summer reading program for kids called Knight Time Reading. The program encourages reading for fun and enjoyment and each child who participates will receive a special certificate at the end of the summer. The Library also hosts special event for kids and families during the summer, including a story and craft time at 4pm, Wednesday, July 21st and again on August 4th. On August 14th at 4pm the program is “Wonders of Wildlife” and on September 9th it’s the Finale.
