No surprise, really, but the people at Vineyard church running the operation really have made it into a fun family event. Last night there were paper crowns and swords to decorate so the kids in the crowd of about 200 could become Princes and Princesses for the evening, keeping with the theme of the feature film: Princess And The Frog (which was pretty enjoyable, by the way – great music and voice talent.) Free popcorn and water as refreshments and a raffle for free goodies, too, did I mention? All around good (free) family fun right here in Mar Vista. Next week Wednesday 7/14: Up! And I recommend getting there EARLY to get a good seat.
